A conversation
Half an hour, about your firm rather than about us. What you do, and the one or two things eating the most time. If an assessment would not pay for itself at your size, this is where we tell you — before anyone signs anything.
How we work
A system nobody at your firm can run without us is a system we built wrong. So every session is working time on your real files, with your people driving and us navigating.
The sequence
Half an hour, about your firm rather than about us. What you do, and the one or two things eating the most time. If an assessment would not pay for itself at your size, this is where we tell you — before anyone signs anything.
We follow one job end to end — how it arrives, what has to be collected, who touches it, where it is filed, how it reaches the client. Then we write down where the time goes today, task by task, before anything changes. That baseline cannot be recreated later, which is why it happens first.
What your current environment can support, what a licence would actually add, and what these tools cannot do for a firm like yours. That last part is not a footnote. We would rather tell you a limitation early than have you find it in month three.
One working proof of concept, on your own files, in an environment you own. Your people build it with us — the person who will run it day to day has their hands on it from the start, not a handover at the end.
We time the same tasks again and produce the value summary from those numbers, at a rate you set. Then a firm quote for whatever should follow — or an honest recommendation that nothing should.
Principles
Working sessions, not demonstrations. If we take the keyboard to save four minutes, we have turned training into delivery and you are dependent on us. The test at the end of an engagement is whether your own person can run it unaided, watched.
Client documents never enter our systems. All work happens inside a Microsoft 365 tenant your firm owns, through a named account you create. You can revoke it at any moment, without notice and without asking us — and nothing we built stops working. If it did, we built it wrong.
Time recorded before, timed again after, priced at a rate you choose. Measured and estimated figures never get blended into one number, and anything that got slower goes in the ledger too.
Unprompted, early, in writing — including the ones that make our own recommendation look smaller. A limitation you find yourself costs us the relationship. One you hear from us costs nothing.
Working together
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Two to three hours a week | Working sessions, usually over Teams, at a time that suits your calendar. Paced around your busy season, not through it. |
| One person who owns it day to day | The person who will actually run this afterwards. They drive the sessions; that is the whole design. |
| Access you create and control | A named account in your own environment, made with your hands on the keyboard. Never a shared password, and never before the paperwork is signed. |
| Decisions within about a week | So the schedule holds. Where that does not suit your calendar the timeline simply extends day for day rather than adding cost. |
